HELP!

I was wondering if anyone knows if there is a way to connect the pop to the pc without having to use the touch screen (when you have to click pc mass storage ect) as mine is compleatly smashed and i need to get my pics and text messages off the phone, i have loads of unread text on there and its driving me nuts not being able to read them!
