Clearing Messgage counter

Does anyone out there no how to clear the message counter - i have tried and tried but to no avail. I've change the date and it comes up with 554 i press reset the day goes back to the current date with out even send the counter back to zero...help!

Clearing Message counter function is same as every mobile. Unlock keypad then go setting, their you can show Message counter menu, select and open it. There are options like delete, send, etc menus, and select delete option and select All, ok.
